‘Bailey’ is a body of work that illustrates the unique relationship Athen shares with her younger brother; who has cerebral palsy and autism. From the moment she knew of his disability, she took on the role of not only being his sister but his best friend, a second mummy and his support; she can no longer imagine him to be any different. This project as a whole aims to be an up-close documentation of their moments together that are spoken to the reader through his own writing.
