“Immigrant - One who or that which immigrates; a person who migrates into a country as a settler.”( Oed, 2018)

 

In my project, I will be looking at immigrants in the United Kingdom, especially as Brexit is happening right now making immigrants the centre of attention not just in everyday life but also worldwide thanks to the media and Brexit being such a big deal in European Union. It’s important that people understand that my photographs are not typical portraits with quotes underneath them, it will be everything but that. With my photographs, I want to create a certain mood and emotion representing people’s feelings, that someone can somehow relate. I think the colour will be a key part in creating my photographs.
