My aim for this project is to explore the rural and urban landscape, to break out of the traditions of photography and experiment with other mediums. I wanted to move away from creating a traditionally flat, 2D photograph, by creating a physical piece. I chose to explore the urban and rural landscape, not from an environmentalist point of view, but because they are both beautiful in their own way and I wanted to show that in my work. I love the hands-on approach to photography, and I feel that this contemporary style helps me to engage people with my work.
