This piece of moving image work has come from Polly’s frustration with the political, economic and social landscape of our country this year. It has been influenced by certain events, such as Brexit, and decisions made by our current government which will negatively impact her generation as they grow up. It focuses on present issues which adversely affect minority groups in our society, whilst also celebrating the diversity of our country. In this day and age, it is all to easy to be complacent. However, through this project she hopes to encourage people to start educating themselves by engaging in social and political issues.
