Rebecca’s project, ‘Behind Closed Doors’, is the exploration of individuals identities through
the use of portraiture within the home. No two people are the same and this is what she is
hoping to highlight by photographing people on their own. The subject, situated in their
home surroundings, will reveal certain aspects about their lives, whether it’s portrayed
through the displaying of sentimental objects, chosen artworks or the colours on their walls.
Everyone has a unique quality about them and Rebecca believes this can be found behind
the closed doors of people’s homes.
